...Since the beginning of 2024, we concentrate even more strongly on strategies for reducing emissions and on even more transparency in each of the five steps of the integrated climate protection strategy from ClimatePartner.
At SANVT, we plant trees together with Eden Projects.
Eden Projects, in collaboration with local villagers in Nepal, Indonesia, Madagascar, Haiti, Mozambique and Kenya, has already planted millions of trees in recent years.
Eden Projects’ reforestation initiatives have two overarching goals: Restore healthy forests and reduce extreme poverty at the same time.
Together with Eden Projects, we want to have a positive impact on the environment while supporting some of the poorest regions in the world. In collaboration with Eden Projects, we plant one tree for every SANVT Essential produced and sold. Because trees are the most effective CO2 absorbers.
From time to time we do even more than planting one tree per garment. For example – instead of Black Friday 2021 – we celebrated Green Weeks, planting additional 10 trees per order. This resulted in more than 10,000 extra trees.
Besides our tree-planting promise with Eden Projects we collaborate with ClimatePartner to transparency throughout the supply chain and to become ClimatePartner certified - both for our Essentials and as a company.
We are always endeavouring to reduce our impact on the environment. To identify all emissions along our supply chain as accurately as possible and reduce them in the future, we follow the integrated climate protection strategy developed by ClimatePartner.
In cooperation with ClimatePartner, we fully offset our CO2 emissions by financing ClimatePartner-certified climate protection projects and are also financially committed to nature conservation. While our main climate project supports nature conservation in the Karwendel Nature Park in Tyrol, Austria, we also pursue the approach of protecting the climate at an international level. We currently have combined climate projects in Colombia, India and Brazil.
Climate change and global warming are the most important issues of our time. That in mind, we believe that a ‘perfect’ essential should be as environmentally friendly as possible. ClimatePartner's 5-step-approach for climate protection strategy includes:

4) Support climate projects
5) Communicate transparently

Our name is not only a reference to high-quality and soft materials, but also stands for our guiding principle of everything we do: sustainability. As a growing company, a soft and gentle approach to people and nature is in the center of everything we do.
Since SANVT was founded, we have produced our collection in a carbon-friendly way. Every single essential is made with respect to the environment and humans and is 100% climepartner certified.
PRODUCTS
We develop extra durable materials made exclusively from biodegradable fibres (e.g. 100 percent cotton). The dyeing of the products is done without harmful additives and the waste water is recycled.
PARTNER
We work exclusively with certified production partners who minimise negative impacts on nature and the environment. We minimise our transport routes, because all our suppliers are located in close proximity to each other. Only A or B energy efficient machines are used in our factories.
PACKAGING
Our packaging is 100% plastic-free. At SANVT we offer you durable essentials with prices that reflect a fair and ethical production. Our range of sizes is also designed to enable you to consume fashion in a sustainable way.
