Winter outfit ideas for men

Lesley Krijan

It’s winter time! Xmas is just around the corner. And although most prefer the warmth of the living room in the colder temperatures, there are also family visits and trips around the holidays that call for a festive look. That’s why we at SANVT are presenting our versatile and sustainable collection today, which is made for every occasion – whether sporty and comfortable or chic.

Timeless looks for at home

@anastasiosmoiras wears the timeless sweat set in the wintry colour navy.

The sweat set

Our favourite look for winter is our sporty set consisting of sweatshirt and matching sweatpants. Both garments are handmade from 100% organic cotton. The cotton is combed before processing to remove any impurities and smooth the fibre. This process refines the yarn, making the garments incredibly soft.

The material in detail…

On the inside of the Perfect Sweatshirt & Perfect Sweatpants are small loops made from 400 g/m2 heavy French Terry fabric. This diagonal “loopback” was specially developed by SANVT to make the Essentials soft, warm and durable.

The French Terry loopback provides increased comfort and durability.

SANVT also pays attention to sustainable production in Europe. This not only allows us to get to know our employees in the factories but also reduces the delivery routes. This way, SANVT can save CO2 and make transport as environmentally friendly as possible.

Minimalist elegance: essentials for the holidays

The combination of the chic chino and the classic oxford shirt blouse can be worn for any occasion.

The Oxford Shirt

When it comes to dressing up for the holidays, we recommend a classic combo of smart chinos and a timeless Oxford shirt. The Oxford shirt originates from Scotland but owes its name to the elite English university of Oxford. The special weaving technique that gives it its famous waffle structure was invented in the 19th century.

The Oxford shirt is available in three colours: white, light blue and dark blue.

The chinos

Chinos, on the other hand, were first worn by French and English soldiers in faraway India and at the time had more practical value than fashion value. Thanks to the absorbent cotton and light fabric, they were perfect for the high temperatures and could be dyed thanks to natural products such as coffee, curry, and mulberry juice to better camouflage the soldiers. After the war, chinos were quickly integrated into everyday life and are now a perfect essential – especially for dressier occasions.

The chinos are smartly designed to provide optimal support for the wearer.

SANVT’s chino trousers retain classic features such as a temperature-regulating cotton fabric and a natural dyeing, but have been equipped with even more practical details:

  • The chino features hidden and closable back pockets as well as specially made mobile phone pockets to avoid uncomfortable slipping of our constant companion.
  • With an offset anchor-eye closure, an elastic waistband and hidden cords, the chino can be individually adjusted and is guaranteed to fit perfectly.
  • The timelessly elegant design meets the sporty comfort of the trousers and has the advantage that the chino can look formal – but is always incredibly comfortable for the wearer.
  • The attached buttons have also been sustainably produced like the trousers and are made from recycled material. In the button production, up to 30% of the leftovers from previous production processes are used.

Timeless essentials for the whole year

A winter-proof wardrobe should offer the optimal mix of sporty everyday essentials and elegant festive outfits. It’s especially important to choose high-quality, breathable fabrics for cool temperatures. If you choose high-quality natural fibers instead of conventional fabrics, your basics will also last a long time. SANVT’s essentials can therefore not only furnish your winter wardrobe but can also be appropriately combined and worn throughout the rest of the year. Cheers to slow fashion!
