We've teamed up with Jérémie Flemin to test The Heavyweight Chino under extreme conditions.
Custom-developed over the course of 18 months: The custom-developed diagonal twill weave of The Heavyweight Chino ensures extra warmth without making you sweat. The fabric is 50% heavier compared to the fabric of The Smart Chino. Thanks to its loose looming weave, the fabric locks in air, allowing it to retain heat more efficiently while maintaining great levels of breathability.
Invisible elastic inserts on the waistband guarantee extra flexibility. Unlike conventional trousers, the waist size of the Heavyweight Chino stretches up to six centimetres.
The hidden cord fastening combines the comfort of a track-pant with the elegance of formal attire.
Available in shorter, regular and longer length. Hidden seams mean that if you’d like to shorten the smart Chino then you can do it yourself in a matter of seconds (with no need to visit a tailor).
The invisible mobile phone pocket on the inside of the main pocket has been specifically designed to reduce bulkiness when carrying a phone.
A tonal lining, a hidden closure and sophisticated seams illustrate perfect craftsmanship and epitomises the timeless design of the heavyweight chino.
– find your size within seconds –
At SANVT, we treat width and length as individual dimensions. As a result we developed more than 20 unique sizes, ensuring you achieve the perfect fit, regardless of preference or body shape.
Since we want to make it easy for you to find your perfect size, we have created a calculator to help you determine your best fit.
The two back pockets are secured by an invisible closure system. All of our buttons are made from recycled material – making use of residues (30%) of internal production processes.
An improved closure system combines the comfort of Sportswear with the timeless design of a more formal trouser. A reversed button-and-hook closure and elastic waistband – with cord fasting and cotton stretch fabric – ensures the perfect fit.
Thanks to its loose looming weave, the fabric locks in air, allowing it to retain heat more efficiently while maintaining great levels of breathability.
We analysed that the production of each chino generates about 11kg carbon emissions. We offset 100% of these production related emissions by supporting the Bergwaldprojekt e.V. – a reforestation project in the Bavarian alps.
