To rethink the way the fashion industry works by living up to our brand name*. We stand for long lasting essentials that are produced with minimal negative impact on humans and nature.
We want to inspire customers to live a less but better lifestyle.
*SANVT derives from “sanft” - German for soft or gentle.

The fashion industry is known for its complexity and intransparent supply chains. We - at SANVT - want to change this. We showcase all of our production facilities. In 2024 we visited 100% of our first tier suppliers in Portugal.
Our goal has always been to maintain our philosophy to minimise the impact we have on nature by constantly trying to reduce our carbon footprint. In 2024, we also analysed and offset our corporate emissions, such as electricity in our offices and business travels.
In 2024 we planted 45.500 trees. We were able to plant 38% more trees than in the previous year. We focused strongly on reducing (and offsetting) our carbon emissions and increased our financial support for carbon offsetting projects.
The fibre content of the majority of our products (15 out of 21) is organic or recycled. Other essentials, such as our signature product The Perfect T-Shirt, are made from ELS cotton, which we chose for its outstanding durability and softness.
Beyond last year’s achievements, we continuously strive to improve. We're focusing on sustainable materials, less waste, chemical-free production and reduced carbon, all while delivering exceptional quality and having a positive impact on the lives of people that work with us.

Transparent traceability is essential for SANVT. Over the past years, we have built a network of direct partners in Portugal. In 2024 we collaborated with 8 garment producers and 9 fabric suppliers in Portugal, Italy & Poland.
We have got to know the people who produce our Essentials and have taken an unbiased look behind the scenes. We document every step of the production process, including how workers are paid and treated. One example: 100% of our suppliers ensure equal pay for men and women.
In 2024 we have implemented the 5 step climate strategy from ClimatePartner:
- Calculate emissions
- Set reduction targets
- Reduce emissions
- Support climate protection projects
- Communicate transparently

To protect our oceans from further pollution, we use only chemical-free dyes in our production. This natural dyeing process not only protects the environment, but also produces high quality and long-lasting colours. But that's not all: thanks to closed water cycles, we also recycle the water we use, so nothing that doesn't belong in nature ends up there.
Alongside our commitment to using organic fabrics, we also place great importance on animal welfare. In 2024, we launched a new collection made from 100% RWS-certified Merino wool — ensuring that the wool we use meets the highest standards for animal welfare, land management, and supply chain transparency.
In addition to our commitment to the environment, we also seek to connect with our community. Our 2024 Pop-Up in Munich brought us closer to the local community — and now, we’re planning a permanent space in the city we call home. More than just a store, it will be a place to experience our values up close, from responsible materials to transparent production.
