Minimal Design, Maximum Comfort: Inside Our Footwear Engineering

Paulina Kulczycki

Less is more: a principle that doesn’t just hold up aesthetically in fashion, but functionally too. In the development of modern sneakers, it’s clear that a minimalist design is anything but a compromise. Quite the opposite: through deliberate material selection, precise construction and clean aesthetics, a product emerges that brings comfort, durability and style to a new level. Our footwear follows this exact approach. Every sneaker is the result of a consistent minimalist design process, where unnecessary extras are stripped away and essential components refined. The focus isn’t on visible features, but on what happens on the inside: ergonomically shaped insoles, breathable linings and intelligently engineered cushioning systems. At SANVT, we offer a look inside our footwear engineering.

Sneakers should first and foremost be comfortable, and only then look the part. Ours manage both. Soft, breathable inner materials ensure a balanced foot climate, while the ultra-lightweight construction delivers all-day performance. We’ve also developed anatomically shaped moulds to optimise biomechanical balance and weight distribution. The result: sneakers that not only look sharp thanks to a timeless design, but also feel right.

Minimal Design Maximum Comfort SANVT Terrace SNeaker

The Terrace Sneaker: Precision for the Office

Our Terrace Sneaker is our answer to the demands of the modern working day. Its reduced design integrates seamlessly into a minimalist office setting, yet the real innovation lies within. The specially developed insole combines a cushioning EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) structure with an anatomical shape. This copolymer "foam" ensures even pressure distribution across the entire foot: a key factor for long-lasting comfort during standing or walking tasks at the office. At the same time, the breathable inner lining made from recycled materials reduces moisture build-up and keeps the foot climate stable. What sets the Terrace Sneaker apart is its balance of stability and flexibility. The outsole provides reliable grip on urban surfaces, while the forefoot construction supports natural movement patterns. The result: a shoe that still feels light, even after a long day at work.

Minimal Design Maximum Comfort SANVT Court Sneaker

The Court Sneaker: Rethinking Comfort for Travel

Travel can be very demanding on footwear: long distances, varied occasions and shifting weather. Our Court Sneaker was developed precisely for this need for versatility. At its core is a multi-layered insole that delivers both shock absorption and energy return. This combination minimalises fatigue when walking while maintaining a dynamic stride. The soft leather lining adapts to the foot individually and minimises friction points, giving them a clear advantage over longer distances. Another key benefit is the shoe’s lightweight build. By reducing the design to essential materials and refining the construction, we’ve significantly lowered the weight without compromising stability. At the same time, the clean silhouette ensures the sneaker remains easy to style: from airport looks and business travel to city trips and long days on the move.

Minimal Design Maximum Comfort SANVT Heritage RUnner

The Heritage Runner: Comfort for Off-Duty Hours

Our Heritage Runner blends athletic demands with minimalist aesthetics. Inspired by classic running silhouettes, it has been technically reworked and stripped back to the essentials. The insole here is particularly performance-driven: a combination of shock-absorbing foam and stabilising elements in the heel area delivers optimal cushioning alongside secure support. The breathable textile lining enhances airflow and prevents overheating, making the sneaker ideal for active days. Unlike the other models, the Heritage Runner places greater emphasis on freedom of movement and dynamic performance. The flexible sole allows for a natural roll-through of the foot, while the structured outsole provides dependable grip even on uneven terrain. Despite its athletic capabilities, the shoe remains visually restrained. No unnecessary details, no loud colours, just functional design that adapts to your active lifestyle and off-duty routines.

Minimal Design, Maximum Comfort: Conclusion

Minimalism in footwear design is more than an aesthetic statement. It’s a functional decision in favour of greater comfort. By focusing on the essentials, we create products that not only look better, but feel better too. The Terrace Sneaker delivers structured support for the working day, the Court Sneaker stands out through versatility and comfort in travel, and the Heritage Runner offers dynamic wearability for leisure looks. Despite their differences, all models share the same core: a considered internal construction, high-quality materials and a timeless design without compromise. In the end, true comfort isn’t achieved through more features, but through better decisions in design, engineering and construction. Less really is more.
